Sweeps-
All sweeping starts with a chimney inspection.
Inspections-
All inspections are conducted to the parameters of National Fire Protection Association 211
NFPA recommends annual Lv 1 inspections to prevent chimney and house fires, and carbon monoxide poisoning
-
Level 1 inspection-
overview and visual Inspection of the entire accessible chimney structure and all of its thimble openings and connections. These inspections are conducted with all chimney sweeping
-
Level 2 inspection-
This inspection has a more in depth look at certain “clearance to combustibles” floor/ ceiling/ roof penetrations, attic and or crawl spaces and a live feed camera scan. These inspections are recommended to be conducted at real estate transfer or sale, and required for a new appliance installed into a chimney, before a relining and after chimney fire or seismic activity.
